Saving...Davao Philippine Flash Flood
We can't believe but sometimes unexpected things happened to us.. so sad and not easy to move on when we lost one of our family member.
Davao tragedy is so unexpected, June 28-29 the date of worst calamity hit Matina, Davao. they didn't expect it during that time because there was no storm, no warning, but the two hour downpour cause the Matina river overflowed… and five Barangays there was experienced the worst flood, where residents climbed in the highest portion of there houses and trees.
I saw the news the other day that twenty-nine people died and 5 are missing. Mayor Sara Duterte said the city needs flood-control projects but they lack money.
"Last night [Tuesday], we did not expect (floods) to be that high. We expect that it is normal for that river to overflow in some portions," she said.
"But last night [Tuesday], all areas were flooded. It (river) overflowed to a height of 10-15 meters," Duterte said.
There are lots of volunteers are there to help : Elements of the Regional Public Safety Battalion, Philippine Air Force, and Coastguards also helped in the rescue operation. Like what school and adult said that "No man is and Island" and yes yan ang pinoy… always nagdadamayan.

You are right, I have been working since May 2009, to get a home modification. I have sent in forms and additional information more than 3 separate times. Finally on June 29th, 2010 all my paperwork supposedly was received but, because now I was more than 12 months behind, I did not qualify for the FHA Assistance Program, nor HAMP. And so, now my home is in foreclosure and set to sell in less than 30 days. My loan conselor Acorn, is a joke and never told me the specfics and never even returns, my calls. Bank of America is a joke and I really believe the only one who cares is me. Thanks and may God still Bless the United States.
